Muixerangues al cel
Catàleg de l'exposició que es va inaugurar el març de 2021 al Museu Valencià d'Etnologia. Comissariada per dos dels màxims coneixedors actuals de les muixerangues: Joan Bofarull i Albert Costa, va estar realitzada amb la col·laboració de L'ETNO, Museu Valencià d'Etnologia i la Federació Coordinadora de Muixerangues. El catàleg no es limita a ser un resum de l'exposició, sinó que aprofita l'oportunitat per a recollir el màxim coneixement actual sobre les muixerangues. En aquest catàleg hi participen, per una part, experts en les tradicions valencianes i, per l'altra, muixeranguers amb la inquietud de conèixer la seua afició. Els 23 articles que hi apareixen es caracteritzen per un elevat rigor científic. Els primers escrits d'aquest catàleg giren entorn de la tradició. Es comença amb la descripció de les diferents muixerangues tradicionals, explicades per persones de cada poble, per tenir les paraules i el punt de vista propis del poble. A continuació, alguns experts expliquen els elements patrimonials que s'han conservat: música, vestuari, figures i vocabulari. La segona part descriu la situació actual de les muixerangues: analitza les colles actuals i la Federació des de diferents punts de vista. El tercer bloc recull estudis sobre diferents moments i fonts de la història de la muixeranga: el seu origen, la memòria oral, l'arxiu d'una empresa, la premsa, etc. Tots aquests estudis són recents i estan revolucionant la visió que es tenia fins ara de la història de la muixeranga. Textos d'Albert Costa, Joan Bofarull, Josep Vicent Frechina, Toni Bellón, Xavier Rausell, Oreto Trescolí, Enric Sorribes, Anna Alcalde, entre d'altres. Un llibre de referència i una eina imprescindible per conèixer el món muixeranguer.
